- Wings and Things Pet Services will endeavour to treat your animal to the highest standard; this may involve Veterinary treatment at times when a Wings and Things Pet Services representative deems fit. In times of an emergency, the client's own Vet will be contacted first. The client will only be the first port of call if an animal is not unduly ill or harmed.
- Security is paramount to Wings and Things Pet Services. We will, at all times, ensure your home and its contents are kept safe. Keys to your home will NOT be given to anyone else other than Wings and Things Pet Services representatives.
- Safety of staff and other members of the public is taken seriously. Wings and Things Pet Services will not allow dogs within their care to be exercised off the lead unless they are deemed safe to do so and with owner's consent. Aggressive animals will not be dealt with.
- Should your dog make a mess in your home whilst waiting for Wings and Things Pet Services to attend, it is NOT expected that Wings and Things Pet Services representatives will clean up (unless the mess may be of detriment to your pet, in which case, the time taken to clean up will be deducted from the walking time)
- Payment for services offered by Wings and Things Pet Services will be as
follows:
i: Dog walking/toileting to be paid weekly or monthly, upfront. If fees are not paid on time with no communication from client, dogs may just be let out for toileting but not walked, yet client will be charged the full fee.
ii: Wings and Things Pet Services will take upto 4 weeks holiday a year. For this, no fee will apply and clients will be given plenty of notice to make other arrangements. If services are not required, Wings and Things Pet Services ask that the client gives 48hrs notice. A retainer fee of £3.50 will apply in this instance (£2 for dog toileting visits). Failure to give adequate notice will result in the normal fee applying. Bank Holidays will be normal working days unless the time is taken as holiday by Wings and Things Pet Services.
iii: Pet Sitting services require to be paid as follows - deposit of 25% paid at the time of booking. This secures the booking and is non-refundable should the booking be cancelled. The remainder of the fee should be paid in full upon commencement of service. Should the client return from holiday early, refunds of fee for unused service may only be given at the discretion of Wings and Things Pet Services.
iv: If Wings and Things Pet Services are no longer required (as in Dog walking/toileting), and the client wishes to terminate the service, it is asked that a notice period of 1 week be given and notice to cancel given in writing. Full fees may apply unless notice is given appropriately. - In the event of an emergency, or the unthinkable occurring, Wings and Things Pet Services has the following measures in place to deal with all eventualities.
a) In the event of my pet's serious Illness or death, I DO NOT WISH / WISH to be contacted whilst on my holidays.
b) if you do not wish to be contacted, please nominate an emergency contact who you feel Is able to make important decisions on your behalf:
